- Cinderfell Custom Player RacesComing from the Latin name of Raccoons, Procyon Lotor, is a Hyper Intelligent Bi-pedal sub species of the former. Lotori if uncontacted, generaly form small gangs consisting of themselves and their lesser counter parts. Lotori often will adapt to what ever species they live around, generally being raccoons making them very hard to distinguish from them, but in rare cases when they are taken up by a humanoid, they tend to adapt very human traits. Including but not limited to: Speech Complex Emotion Tool Use Understanding of culture Reading Complex Puzzle Solving And much more. Though Lotori still hold many Raccoon like traits, this includes their lifespan, their timid nature, and their general sense of curiosity. Lotori commonly in personality vappidly worried wether they are doing the right thing. As they are worried about their longevity, and tend to get very worked up about their lifespan, ranging from a wide range of 3-20 years. Their strengths include the fact that they are just biped Raccoons with the intelligence of a human, so jumping, swimming, and over all mischief is in their nature of skills. Their weaknesses fall into their personalities, and again the fact they are technically just sentient pest. Their personalities tend to be anxious, and tend to live fairly miserable lives if they have no comfort in their existence, hense why they tend to fall into religion, or end up adventuring until they drop dead from an outside force. Due to their short lifespan they also tend to seek afflictions to become immortal. Though- the side effects tend to be. . . Lack luster. For example if a Lotori were to become a werewolf, it tends to just make the Lotori grow a singular foot. . . That is the only effect, they also may form anger issues. Vampiric forms tend to force them into an albino state turning their fur white, and turning their eyes incredibly sensitive to light, and it's not unheard of for them to. . . Blind selves looking into the sun for the first time. Though if they are smart enough to not blind them selves they reap the benefits of the vampiric affliction.
- Cinderfell Custom Player RacesBackground lore The Arkith are a hellish species released into the world of Cinderfell during an ancient war as a shock soldier. Their sole purpose was to wreak havoc and destruction behind enemy lines in small numbers. When first released onto the land the Arktih were senseless killers and nothing more, operating on pure instinct and a drive to kill and consume. Once the war ended, the Arkith were left stranded. Over hundreds of years the Arkith began to learn and change to match this new world, becoming more tame and civil. Appearance The appearance of the Arkith can only be described as ‘Hellish’ having digitigrade style legs jointed in three places, sharp teeth, thin tails tipped with a sharp point capable of piercing light armor, long sharp claws, and deep red skin. They have horns made of a strong bone-like material which vary in location and style, as well as elven style ears. This material of their horns is the same material which makes up their claws. Their eyes are usually pitch black, or vibrant with a yellowish sclera. Culture Originally the culture of the Arkith was based entirely around war, though in time it turned more to studies of magic, and trying to live passively. As their numbers thinned out more, their lifestyles turned more into pure survival. Many took up work as assassins, some thieves, others left civilized life entirely in an attempt to preserve their species by living in hiding off of the land itself, hunting and avoiding contact to get by. At this time, the Arkith are on the edge of total extinction, and are seldom seen. Most Arkith will only make contact to trade, and will then disappear again. Biology The Arkith are entirely carnivorous, being unable to digest large amounts of plant based matter. Their internal body temperature is generally around 131F (55C) which is enough to cause 2nd degree burns when in short contact, and even 3rd degree burns with prolonged exposure. Their external temperature is generally about 115F (46.1C) which is hot to the touch but will not leave burns even when in contact for long periods of time. They vary greatly in height, however always have a very high metabolism, meaning they commonly have a slim/lean build. Their internals are much the same to humans, however they have a high resistance to most poisons and diseases due to their high internal temperature. They will begin to freeze to death if the temperature falls below 60F (15.5C) when not wearing protective clothing. Their horns, and claws are commonly used as trophies for hunters, and are commonly adjourned by paladins as a form of psychological warfare. Their blood is sought out by many vampires as it generally energizes them like caffeine does for humans, and while it does not taste good it has shown to be incredibly addictive to the vampires that try it. The Arkith are known to live about twice as long as humans, their age seeming to slow greatly when they reach maturity which is roughly 25 years of age with the average age if they avoid combat and focus on living a healthy life being around 160 years of age. Weaknesses and Strengths Strengths -Strong sharp claws tip their fingers, they are non retractable. -Their legs are incredibly strong, making them extremely agile. -Their tails are sharp, and can be used as a slashing or piercing weapon. -Their horns can be used for ramming, and even piercing depending on how they are oriented. -Strong skin, making it much harder to pierce or slash. -They are capable of surviving falls from great heights if they land feet first. -They are resistant to normal sickness and disease as their internal temperature tends to kill any foreign life forms quickly. This also grants them an immunity to the majority of afflictions. Weaknesses -They are weak to cold temperatures. -They tend to be a weaker race, generally depending on agility. -They are weak to blunt impacts. -They are unable to eat plants, generally getting sick quickly from them. -Weakness to pure iron. Cuts and stabs from pure iron weaponry are much more likely to pierce their skin, if ingested it will make them incredibly sick and weak as well as weakening their skin. -Incredibly weak to divination. - Offical Event: The Guild WarsAbout The Guild The Infamous thieves guild of Atheria. Due to Atherias prosperity and the amount of travellers coming in and out of town for its famous magical school, that left opportunity open for the least fortunate of the town.. Those who kept to the darkness and shadows, pickpocket, steal, or plain out trick the people of Atheria to gain their earnings to survive. Some going as far as hosting magical shows whilst the others steal from the crowd. However, they have set their sights on something grander than simple thieving from commoners.. Sealing themselves in the lowest part of Atheria, and only allowing people who can figure out their riddles to enter their hideout.. Would you dare try to solve their puzzles? Their eyes have set upon the Collectors guild, knowing if they sold off the rare items they could make more than a living for themselves on the lands of Atheria! They could aid all the unfortunate souls along with themselves.. They have begun following members of this Collectors guild, and swooping in to steal what they can! How much they've earned so far is unknown.. Finders keepers, losers weepers, If they get to the items first, You ain't getting a cut of any items or possessions found! ..But who is to say what their true intentions really are? Boys and Girls, I think we’re feasting tonight after this Heist!” About Jasper: Jasper, Human, was once an Ashmorian Citizen, Living there as a child of a noble, and an older brother to a Sister.. However, it was not all sunshines and rainbows. During the Wars that occurred on the Archipelago, Jasper fell seriously ill.. And all the priests within Ashmore, and the necromancers, could not cure his illness. In a Desperate manner, Jasper was sent off to Atherian lands, hearing of a many with many treasures who may have something to heal his child.. But Alas, there was nothing that could be done.. And Jasper was eventually forgotten and assumed dead. Despite being predicted to have died at the age of 10, Jasper has surpassed that to the ripe age of 36- Still unwell, but managing to survive.. He put his new passion and hatred towards the Collector, and the nobles of the land, but aiding the poor and poverty-stricken folk- Stealing from wealthy citizens any opportunity he gets. He leads a large, underground group called the Thieves Guild, only able to enter if you pass a series of riddles to enter the hidden passageway into their underground base.. Once in, Jasper is warm, friendly, and welcoming- constantly joking around at any opportunity he gets to have a laugh… Because who knows when he may laugh for the last time. Magic and Items of Interest: Jasper holds the Magics of Mentalism, Enchantment, and Elementalism, using all three to his advantage whenever possible to complete a mission. He doesn't have any personal items of interest that he carries with him, other than a Medallion of a Dragon. Hatred for those who ruined her life and family is what drove her passion, aiming to be better than the thugs who stole from her- going to climb the ladder and steal from the richest of folks, and steal the best of treasures, to prove to them that she can do what they do, but ten times better than they ever could. She's Egotistical, and uses her Arachne background and nature to her advantage- taking from people's pockets with a simple string of web, sneaking and climbing around buildings using the same tactic. Or had any possessions on him.. They Took in Thompson under their wing! His surely no thief, but his one tall scary giant! A Lot about Thompson however remains a mystery, the man doesn't speak a lot of common and is still trying to learn, still quite used to his native tongue from his homeland towards the mainland. But he is friendly, putting on a smile while trying his best to coordinate jobs and funds coming in and out of the guild, getting as much support as he needs from Emerald and Jasper.
