Mysticism (2 Aura Points)
Mysticism Is a Magic Circle which consists of Mainly Soul manipulation, and other sub circles which are considered in religions to be both the holiest of magics, and darkest of circles, some forbidden to be learnt in some towns, others praised and taught in magic schools. Other parts of the world accept it, however, as one of the most neutral magics you could have; Pure balance, a lot like Arcane.
Mysticism, Due to the many ways of practising it, can come out in three different possible forms, all which are completely subjective to the character and the race of that character. Races could affect what form of Mysticism hurts them, or which they strive at using. Radiance, Neutralism, and Malignant. Your aura will clearly show which side you are more towards. If you pick Radiance or Malignant, you can only sway away from that aura by going more towards Neutralism.. Meaning you can cast both Radiant and Neutralism-like spells.
Your Aura is usually determined by your headspace and your beliefs; If your character is greatly religious, praising a holy god, and following rules of a bible, then they are most likely to be radiant, as their powers were gifted by a Radiant god. Same goes for Malignant if one was to worship a Malignant god to grant such power. However, Neutralism is gained by your headspace and beliefs changing, or simply no longer caring about those above when once previously did, etc. These are some examples on how you could get these auras. Below is the definition of the different types of Mysticism.
Types of Mysticism
Radiance
Anyone casting Mysticism in a Radiant form, will find that all their spells casted will have a divine intervention added to them-- A holy presence which can burn the skin of vampires or chase off evil spirits that are cursed with Dark inheritance.
Neutralism
This Magic doesn't hold a Holy Presence like Radiance, or a Dark and necrotic presence like Malignant form of Mysticism. Neutralism is just simply the manipulation of some of the elements in this circle; The Manipulation of Light for example may not hold a holy form to it, useful for those simply wishing to blind a target temporarily.
Malignant
The Malignant form of Mysticism twists the art of Soul manipulation in a more dark manner, mainly seen in the forms of shadow manipulation or Necrosis. People leaning towards the dark arts of this craft find their spells more.. Tainted, possessing that harsh presence that could even out, or fight against Radiance head-on.
Mysticism Subclasses
You may pick 3 subclasses below, and use under any of the mysticism forms that you have chosen. You can cast any of these Subclasses with whatever form you've chosen. Example: I pick Summoning, and the types of Mysticism i've picked is Nuetralism and Malignant. I can Summon a nuetral-like spirit, or a demonic-eqsued one. This is just a pure example <3.
Summoning (Celestialism / General Necromancy)
Summoning is calling upon the Afterlife ro calling upon the gods, asking for Aid in your issues or simply for the sake of it to show off… Summoning can bring forth a celestial spirit to do your bidding, Or it can bring back the carcass of the dead to quickly aid you, or a dark spirit. These spirits or undead however will have no sentience, mainly controlled by the user summoning them forth onto the plane of existence. For things sentient, That will be Ethereal manipulation.
Essence Gathering (Shadow / Light)
Essence gathering is the manipulation of the essence which make up the World of Cinderfell, specifically more towards the aspects of Shadows, and Light. People can manipulate light in a dure, divine fashion, or simply form a more neutral source of light in their hands. Shadows can be bent in a Necrotic and Harsh manner, but could also subtly be moved around without any ill feeling or use behind the manipulation.
Bewitchment (Curses, Hexes, Judgement).
Bewitchment is the Circle used when Dealing with Hexes, Much like runecraft.. However, Hexes come in the form of run-like shapes, Glyphs, and can be mistaken for enchantments.. Except what they do is entirely different; These glyphs and runes focus their magic on the soul and body, being used in ways to curse people in the long run, cursing objects-- or using Judgement spells, prying the truth from people within the radius of the glyph. These are mainly ritual-like spells.
Ethereal Manipulation (Soul manipulation, Soul Puppetry)
The Magic of Manipulating one's Soul and Lifeforce in a specific manner; Mainly to Take life away, or give life to someone else.. Manipulating the soul of one person is truly a terrifying art. Soul manipulation can be used to tether things to people's souls, Tear them apart and build them back up again.. Or aiding in the use of Puppetrying, Such as using Voodoo dolls or much like mentalism, manipulating a soul to do your bidding.. Including bringing ones back from the afterlife.
Hemokinesis (Blood, Blessing And Necrosis)
Hemokinesis is the manipulation of mainly the Body, without the aid of transfiguration… Mainly, this focuses on the manipulation of Blood and flesh, being able to form undead monstrosities with this kind of manipulation.. Though on the flip side, this Magic also manipulates by allowing people to cast blessings or manipulating the body to heal by drawing power from one's lifeforce, or even causing necrosis.
