Background The Background of Elves isn't a pleasant one; Elves aimed to rule the lands of Cinderfell, going as far as to start the infamous rumours of Goblins distorted behaviour to the world, Taunting Kalfarians with their magical abilities- and taking in Humans for Labour. However, not all elves were like this- Dark elves being the worst of the bunch. Dark Elves, due to their similar appearances with Goblins, ended up taking drastic measures of their own to be as chaotic as possible, just in spite of the other elven kinds such as Wood Elves and High-Elves. Desert-Elves directed their attention to themselves, uncaring of the wars brewing as they guided travelers along the lands. Appearance Elves are formally tall and slim who wear their hair long with braided rings with their pointed ears being on show. It's very easy to tell the difference from an elf to a human, due to being much taller than regular humans. Elves range in the 6ft range. However, their appearance shares the same variety as Humans; Depending on where the Elf originated from, their appearance and culture differs. Desert elves may look more tribal-like, while Dark elves live in the caves and end up with more purple-gray skin tones. Even going as far as Snow elves and high elves living atop the mountains, sharing the same lands and similar appearance. Culture Elves aren’t liked among Kalfarians due to their natural ability to use magic, this ability linked to the Magic war caused years ago. However there are still a lot of Elves that are unable to possess magic, thus being jealous of elves that can. Otherwise, Elven culture varies heavily; It is based on where the elf was originated from or how they grew up. High-Elves tend to be more Formal and However one thing that has stuck true to Elven culture is their dislike in Half-Elves. High-Elves In particular, try to keep their bloodline pure from humans; viewing them as imperfect creatures due to the amount of wars and fights that they have amongst themselves. Weaknesses and strengths The most obvious strength of Elves is their natural ability to use and learn magic, elves have slightly better control of their mana than a human would- thus making it easier for them to pick up magical traits. On Top of this, Elves have great athletic ability due to their usual tall, slim frames. Elves however are physically weaker than a human, due to how draining magic is on a person- it takes a physical toll. You won’t commonly see an elf working in a job that requires a lot of manual labour due to this. Another weakness of elves is that they tend to suffer more damage from climates they aren't used to; a Perfect example is a Desert elf being suddenly in the snow or cold temperatures, they’ll be quicker to freeze over or suffer hypothermia.
