All Credit Belongs to the Artist Background Tactical Kalfarians are always trying to outdo themselves with new ideas and styles. It fascinates them to learn something new, having the will and answers to everything in life because of their hard work and curiosity. This mindset of stepping forward is their pride and fire, believing they’ll be to a new era within no time. Though most Kalfarians went silent at the next era they stepped into. Magic had just been introduced, a whole new element to explore. But this element had them more in fear than excitement-- They had been the ones to work so hard on developing technology with clockwork, being to striving leaders in its research and production... But The more they learned of magic, the more they realized it destroyed their previous research. Their laws of science were being reversed and tampered with while new laws were replacing them. Of course, a few Kalfarians found this a whole new era to study. But the rest felt that this era was out to get them. They needed to retaliate. Any magic user in Kalfarian terrain would be contained and held in bars for research. Any studies on magic users would be in order to understand how their magic worked, and how to counter it with their own technology. They were known for beings taking drastic measures due to their culture.
Culture
Kalfarians are strong-willed and believe themselves to be wiser than other races. They work on the belief that gods do not exist and are just a folktale in order to give false hope. Rather than reaching out for a higher being, they believe in keeping their mentality strong by accepting that there’s no one to help them at the end of dawn. Death is a concept that they’ve been able to shrug off, because the meaning of life should be passed onto a generation that’s capable of greater than they are now. Due to their beliefs, they strongly hold onto tradition and culture to keep their heads high, and their honour higher. This usually sets Kalfarians in the alignment of Lawful, while they usually vary from Good to Neutral. Kalfarians only aim to grow, and will do anything to avoid falling. To do this, they are strong with culture in order to keep their race in check, mentally and physically. Their biggest culture throughout the Kalfarian race was known as Markings. Through every big step in life, a Kalfarian would get a black ink symbol permanently etched into their skin, representing their accomplishments. This tradition is not only for others to know who they are, but for the Kalfarian to remember who they are. It also reminds them that you only get one chance in life, so you should make it count. No big step should be made without knowing its destination. If you were to make that blind step anyways, you should follow it through and through, for you were at least aware of the path you were taking. Appearance Kalfarians are red/green/blue-skinned humanoids that range around the adult height from 6-7 feet. They are known as a humanoid race that possesses four arms, complemented with a slim and firm build. Another distinct feature of the Kalfarians would be their facial features, bearing the lower canines most similar to boar tusks, and pointed ears that could be compared to an elf’s. Kalfarians have an expandable fashion, but usually prefer a top with no sleeves, to show off their ink markings. These ink markings can be found on their neck, chest, and arms. Strengths and Weaknesses Kalfarians think highly about their capabilities, believing they reached evolution faster than other races. They’re proud of their possession and control of four arms and tend to use them for tasks that would require fetching items or holding something in place- Albeit these arms aren't too strong, As Kalfarians aren't all muscular. Kalfarians also are known for having a higher thinking capacity. They use this perk for problem solving and are always trying to think of how to advance their knowledge, all while being able to properly use their arms. No other race can compete with their multi-tasking. Not only do they have weaker arms, they do tend to be more fragile than most races, suffering more bone fractures from bludgeoning damage than other races. Unfortunately, having a high thinking capacity will take a toll on their mind as they age- Their Mind will get weaker in strength, being weak to magic such as Mentalism or anything that may effect their state of mind. Kalfarians, as they get older, can also suffer seizures due to suffering from brain diseases. These beasts are immune to afflictions. -Lore by Staff team & WizardGoof!
